This report is generated from anonymized, aggregated data from GhostMyData's automated removal pipeline. We process data deletion requests across 1,500+ data broker sites using CCPA legal requests, automated opt-out form submissions, and direct broker communication.
Each broker receives a compliance score (0-100) based on five factors:
- Removal success rate (30 points): What percentage of submitted removal requests result in confirmed data deletion.
- Response time (20 points): Average days from request submission to data removal, benchmarked against the CCPA 45-day requirement.
- Opt-out page health (15 points): Whether the broker's opt-out mechanism is functional, accessible, and not hidden from search engines.
- Re-listing behavior (-15 penalty): Whether previously removed data reappears on the broker's site after confirmed deletion.
- Removal accessibility (-5 penalty): Whether the broker rejects email-based removal requests, requiring users to navigate complex web forms.
No individual user data is included in this report. All statistics are aggregated across our entire user base. Broker compliance scores may change as we process additional removal requests.

Foot Draggers (35-54) exceed CCPA deadlines and require follow-up. Non-Compliant (0-34) ignore requests, have broken opt-out pages, or re-list data after removal.
